Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,750.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Zvi Mairovich have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2009 the work Painting With Yellow Light was auctioned for USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,002.00).

Die Arbeit A portrait of a woman von Zvi Mairovich kam im Februar 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.750,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Zvi Mairovich konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2009 die Arbeit Painting With Yellow Light für USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.002,00) versteigert.
