Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Menuju Hayalan (Towards Imagination) by Zulfa Hendra was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. It changed hands for a price of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 5,925.69) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 50,000.00 – 65,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zulfa Hendra have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Imajinasi Alam (Realm Of Imagination) in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 25,429.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Menuju Hayalan (Towards Imagination) von Zulfa Hendra wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 5.925,69) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 65.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zulfa Hendra auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Imajinasi Alam (Realm Of Imagination) im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 25.429,74).
