This artwork by Zulfa Hendra achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2008. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction, the work Melintasi Alam (Crossing The Realm) sold for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 19,072.31) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Zulfa Hendra; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Imajinasi Alam (Realm Of Imagination) sold at auction in October 2008 with the realized price of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 25,429.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zulfa Hendra erzielte im Oktober 2008 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings wurde die Arbeit Melintasi Alam (Crossing The Realm) für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 19.072,31) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Zulfa Hendra; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Imajinasi Alam (Realm Of Imagination) im Oktober 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 25.429,74).
