A top price for Zu Do Yang - as previously expected
The work Playground-Br- Polar; & Playground-Polar by Zu Do Yang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,493.05) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Playground-Br- Polar; & Playground-Polar is the most expensive artwork by Zu Do Yang that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Playground-Br- Polar; & Playground-Polar von Zu Do Yang kam im Mai 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.493,05) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Playground-Br- Polar; & Playground-Polar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Zu Do Yang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
