This artwork by Zong Qixiang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2011. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 60,000 (€ 5,740) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000. Admittedly, works by Zong Qixiang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 548,000 (€ 55,742).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zong Qixiang erzielte im November 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 60.000 (€ 5.740) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zong Qixiang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 548.000 (€ 55.742).
