Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work I Love You by Zoe Leonard was auctioned at Phillips in London in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,820.00 (€ 10,449.32). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zoe Leonard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Four works: (i) Yellow, Pink, Blue Bundle; (ii) Coca Cola shack; (iii) Two Pairs; (iv) Drop Off A.M. Pick Up P.M., which sold at auction in May 2019 for USD 40,000.00 (€ 35,877.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit I Love You von Zoe Leonard kam im Oktober 2021 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.820,00 (€ 10.449,32) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Zoe Leonard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Four works: (i) Yellow, Pink, Blue Bundle; (ii) Coca Cola shack; (iii) Two Pairs; (iv) Drop Off A.M. Pick Up P.M. beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für USD 40.000,00 (€ 35.877,66) versteigert wurde.
