Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Traveling across Mountains by Zhu Henian. The price achieved of HKD 37,800 (€ 4,205) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as HKD 30,000 - 50,000. Admittedly, works by Zhu Henian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work in October 2010 with an auction result of HKD 187,500 (€ 17,409).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Traveling across Mountains von Zhu Henian zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.800 (€ 4.205) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000 – 50.000 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhu Henian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 187.500 (€ 17.409).
