A top price for Zhu Danian - as previously expected
In October 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Asian Art, which included the work Pine, Bamboo And Plum Blossoms (Quadriptych) by Zhu Danian. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 1,600,000.00 – 2,600,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 1,625,000.00 (€ 189,843.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Pine, Bamboo And Plum Blossoms (Quadriptych) is the most expensive artwork by Zhu Danian that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pine, Bamboo And Plum Blossoms (Quadriptych) von Zhu Danian zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 1.600.000,00 – 2.600.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 1.625.000,00 (€ 189.843,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Pine, Bamboo And Plum Blossoms (Quadriptych) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Zhu Danian, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
