The work Calligraphy- Poem by Lu You by Zhou Zuoren was worth HKD 350,000.00 (€ 38,239.07) to a buyer in May 2018. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Zuoren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Correspondences to Mr Hu Shifang in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 5,980,000.00 (€ 653,341.90).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy- Poem by Lu You von Zhou Zuoren war einem Käufer im Mai 2018 HKD 350.000,00 (€ 38.239,07) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Zuoren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Correspondences to Mr Hu Shifang im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.980.000,00 (€ 653.341,90).
