A top price for Yangming Zhou - as previously expected
The work 20161223 by Yangming Zhou was sold in the Contemporary Art | Hong Kong auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in November 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 113,400.00 (€ 12,608.93) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, 20161223 is the most expensive artwork by Yangming Zhou that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit 20161223 von Yangming Zhou wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 113.400,00 (€ 12.608,93) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist 20161223 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yangming Zhou, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
