Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Plum Blossom Studio by Zhou Shixin. It changed hands for a price of HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,022.71) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Other works by Zhou Shixin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December last year the work Flowers was auctioned for HKD 30,240.00 (€ 3,623.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plum Blossom Studio von Zhou Shixin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.022,71) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Zhou Shixin konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres die Arbeit Flowers für HKD 30.240,00 (€ 3.623,83) versteigert.
