Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zhou Shixin achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October this year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 14,400.00 (€ 1,741.41) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhou Shixin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flowers, which sold at auction in December last year for HKD 30,240.00 (€ 3,623.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhou Shixin erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 14.400,00 (€ 1.741,41) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhou Shixin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flowers beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für HKD 30.240,00 (€ 3.623,83) versteigert wurde.
