The work Calligraphy by Zhou Lianggong was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. It achieved a price of HKD 528,000.00 (€ 65,883.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32%. Admittedly, works by Zhou Lianggong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 372,500.00 (€ 302,353.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 32 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Zhou Lianggong kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 528.000,00 (€ 65.883,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhou Lianggong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 372.500,00 (€ 302.353,90).
