Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Zhou Lianggong was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I auction at POLY in April 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 76,700.00 (€ 8,730.69) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Lianggong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 372,500.00 (€ 302,353.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Zhou Lianggong wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I bei POLY versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 76.700,00 (€ 8.730,69) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Lianggong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 372.500,00 (€ 302.353,90).
