Upper estimate price exceeded by 25%
The work Liujia Gorges by Zhou Huaimin was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 75,000 (€ 7,308), 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Zhou Huaimin have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 162,500 (€ 14,207) in October 2009 for the work .

Die Arbeit Liujia Gorges von Zhou Huaimin wurde im April 2012 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 75.000 (€ 7.308) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Zhou Huaimin haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 162.500 (€ 14.207) im Oktober 2009 für die Arbeit beobachtet.
