Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zheng Wenzhuo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Snowy Mountain Landscape sold for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,354.15) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zheng Wenzhuo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rubbing Of Ancient Vessels in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 77,413.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zheng Wenzhuo erzielte im April 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Snowy Mountain Landscape für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.354,15) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zheng Wenzhuo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rubbing Of Ancient Vessels im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 77.413,52).
