Chinese Paintings From the Yanqinzhai Collection 「硯琴齋」珍藏中國書畫 Lot 601-731 「杯裏紫茶香代酒，琴中綠水靜留賓」 ——硯琴齋主之書畫收藏 硯琴齋主，祖籍廣東汕頭，生於香港。早年從事貿易，經商之餘耽於傳統藝術。上世紀七十年代，師從本港名家范又新習書，八十年代初先後隨容思澤、吳景略、蔡德允諸師習操縵，並蒐訪歷代琴器，復考其沿革，珍藏唐宋元明以來古斲甚夥。數十年來，以琴會友，多次於港、臺和澳門各大學及博物館舉辦古琴展覽及講座，竭心盡力於古琴藝術之普及推廣。 絲桐之外，硯琴齋主亦雅好丹青�

A top price for Zheng Shixuan
In October 2021 Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Paintings From the Yanqinzhai CollectionThe Online Sale, which included the work Scholar at Ease with Guqin by Zheng Shixuan. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 82,875.00 (€ 9,218.70), 66% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Scholar at Ease with Guqin the most expensive artwork by Zheng Shixuan that we have observed at auctions so far.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 82.875,00 (€ 9.218,70) und damit 66% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Scholar at Ease with Guqin zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Zheng Shixuan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
