This artwork by Zhen Yan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March 2015. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work LANDSCAPES sold for USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,728.24) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,200.00. This high result makes LANDSCAPES the most expensive artwork by Zhen Yan that we have observed at auctions so far.
