Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscapes by Zhen Yan. The price achieved of USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,911.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhen Yan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work LANDSCAPES, which sold at auction in March 2015 for USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,728.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscapes von Zhen Yan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.911,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhen Yan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit LANDSCAPES beobachtet, die im März 2015 für USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.728,24) versteigert wurde.
