Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Houses with Red Roofs by Zhao Zhunwang was sold in the Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2006. The price achieved of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 2,909.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhao Zhunwang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Terraced Fields, which sold at auction in May 2006 for HKD 108,000.00 (€ 10,847.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Houses with Red Roofs von Zhao Zhunwang wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 2.909,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhao Zhunwang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Terraced Fields beobachtet, die im Mai 2006 für HKD 108.000,00 (€ 10.847,97) versteigert wurde.
