Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy in regular and running script by Zhao Zhiqian was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in March last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 8,925.00 (€ 8,045.61) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhao Zhiqian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers In Classical Style in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 15,640,000.00 (€ 1,482,845.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in regular and running script von Zhao Zhiqian kam im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 8.925,00 (€ 8.045,61) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhao Zhiqian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers In Classical Style im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 15.640.000,00 (€ 1.482.845,80).
