A top price for Zhao Zhiqian
When the work Flowers In Classical Style by Zhao Zhiqian was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 2,000,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than seven times as high at HKD 15,640,000.00 (€ 1,482,845.80). This high result makes Flowers In Classical Style the most expensive artwork by Zhao Zhiqian that we have observed at auctions so far.

Als die Arbeit Flowers In Classical Style von Zhao Zhiqian im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches.
