In March 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy, which included the work Ruan Ji'S Poems In Regular Script by Zhao Shijun. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,564.47), 63% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Zhao Shijun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Couplet In Running Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 38,400.00 (€ 39,213.91).

Im März 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ruan Ji'S Poems In Regular Script von Zhao Shijun zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.564,47) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhao Shijun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Couplet In Running Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 38.400,00 (€ 39.213,91).
