Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphy by Zhao Puchu. The price achieved of HKD 33,600.00 (€ 3,735.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 25,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhao Puchu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Regular Script in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 713,000.00 (€ 69,794.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Zhao Puchu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 33.600,00 (€ 3.735,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 25.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhao Puchu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 713.000,00 (€ 69.794,73).
