Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2024 POLY held the auction Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors IV, which included the work Calligraphy In Running Script by Zhao Puchu. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 6,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 7,200.00 (€ 1,106.24) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhao Puchu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Regular Script in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 713,000.00 (€ 69,794.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2024 führte POLY die Auktion Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors IV durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Zhao Puchu zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 6.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 7.200,00 (€ 1.106,24) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhao Puchu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 713.000,00 (€ 69.794,73).
