Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Zhao Nengzhi could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work My Own Face Series (Set Of Three) changed hands for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 20,444.67) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhao Nengzhi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in September 2007 for USD 67,000.00 (€ 47,120.05).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhao Nengzhi konnte im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wechselte die Arbeit My Own Face Series (Set Of Three) für HKD 175.000,00 (€ 20.444,67) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhao Nengzhi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im September 2007 für USD 67.000,00 (€ 47.120,05) versteigert wurde.
