Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Asian Contemporary Art Online: featuring the Chaney Family Collection, which included the work Expression 2002 No.4 by Zhao Nengzhi. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,151.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhao Nengzhi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 67,000.00 (€ 47,120.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art Online: featuring the Chaney Family Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Expression 2002 No.4 von Zhao Nengzhi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.151,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhao Nengzhi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 67.000,00 (€ 47.120,05).
