Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Portrait by Zhao Chengmu. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 48,000.00 (€ 5,989.41) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Zhao Chengmu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2015 the work Finger Painted Flowers was auctioned for USD 8,750.00 (€ 8,146.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait von Zhao Chengmu zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 48.000,00 (€ 5.989,41) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Zhao Chengmu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2015 die Arbeit Finger Painted Flowers für USD 8.750,00 (€ 8.146,36) versteigert.
