Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Horses in the Forest by Zhang Yuguang was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. It changed hands for a price of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,906.50) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Zhang Yuguang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2012 the work Resting Buffaloes was auctioned for HKD 47,500.00 (€ 4,728.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two Horses in the Forest von Zhang Yuguang wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.906,50) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Zhang Yuguang konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2012 die Arbeit Resting Buffaloes für HKD 47.500,00 (€ 4.728,74) versteigert.
