A top price for Zhang Yuguang - as previously expected
The work Resting Buffaloes by Zhang Yuguang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. It changed hands for a price of HKD 47,500.00 (€ 4,728.74) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 36,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Resting Buffaloes is the most expensive artwork by Zhang Yuguang that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Resting Buffaloes von Zhang Yuguang kam im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 4.728,74) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 36.000,00 – 50.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Resting Buffaloes das teuerste Kunstwerk von Zhang Yuguang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
