This artwork by Zhang Xuezeng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2005. In the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 168,000.00 (€ 18,381.68) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Xuezeng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in September 2014 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 54,442.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Xuezeng erzielte im November 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 168.000,00 (€ 18.381,68) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Xuezeng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im September 2014 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 54.442,51) versteigert wurde.
