A top price for Zhang Xianghe
This artwork by Zhang Xianghe achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Orchid And Osmanthus sold for HKD 62,400.00 (€ 63,722.61) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 25,000.00. This high result makes Orchid And Osmanthus the most expensive artwork by Zhang Xianghe that we have observed at auctions so far.
