Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Running Script by Zhang Shizhao was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 48,000.00 (€ 5,339.34) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 20,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Shizhao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in October this year with an auction result of HKD 936,000.00 (€ 113,191.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Zhang Shizhao wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 48.000,00 (€ 5.339,34) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Shizhao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 936.000,00 (€ 113.191,52).
