It achieved a price of HKD 10,620.00 (€ 1,240.70), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Admittedly, works by Zhang Qun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Motto in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 89,700.00 (€ 10,366.69).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script von Zhang Qun kam im Oktober 2015 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 10.620,00 (€ 1.240,70) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Qun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Motto im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 89.700,00 (€ 10.366,69).
