Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Three Winter Friends by Zhang Qia. It changed hands for a price of HKD 460,000.00 (€ 42,782.98) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Qia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,070,000.00 (€ 196,432.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three Winter Friends von Zhang Qia zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 460.000,00 (€ 42.782,98) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Qia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.070.000,00 (€ 196.432,25).
