Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2007 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Plum Blossoms and Bamboo by Zhang Qia. The price achieved of HKD 90,000.00 (€ 8,569.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Qia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,070,000.00 (€ 196,432.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plum Blossoms and Bamboo von Zhang Qia zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 90.000,00 (€ 8.569,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Qia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.070.000,00 (€ 196.432,25).
