Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Cal, which included the work Landscape After Zhao Mengfu by Zhang Peidun. The price achieved of USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,005.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Zhang Peidun have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2020 the work Studio In Mountain was auctioned for HKD 118,750.00 (€ 13,010.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Cal durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape After Zhao Mengfu von Zhang Peidun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 12.005,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Zhang Peidun konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2020 die Arbeit Studio In Mountain für HKD 118.750,00 (€ 13.010,66) versteigert.
