Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fisherman by Zhang Peidun was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2019. The price achieved of USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,260.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Peidun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Studio In Mountain in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 118,750.00 (€ 13,010.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fisherman von Zhang Peidun kam im September 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.260,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Peidun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Studio In Mountain im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 13.010,66).
