A top price for Zhang Langlang
This artwork by Zhang Langlang achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2019. In the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction, the work Sunflower(Painted In 2017) sold for HKD 448,400.00 (€ 51,251.46) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. This high result makes Sunflower(Painted In 2017) the most expensive artwork by Zhang Langlang that we have observed at auctions so far.
