In December 2020 Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne held the auction Chinese Paintings, which included the work Plum Blossoms by Zhang Jun. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 1,599.00 (€ 1,307.44), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Jun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poem In Cursive Script in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 509,000.00 (€ 376,062.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne die Auktion Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plum Blossoms von Zhang Jun zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 1.599,00 (€ 1.307,44) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Jun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poem In Cursive Script im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 509.000,00 (€ 376.062,06).
