Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Across The River by Zhang Jun was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. The price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 22,900.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Jun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poem In Cursive Script in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 509,000.00 (€ 376,062.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Across The River von Zhang Jun wurde im November 2015 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 22.900,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Jun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poem In Cursive Script im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 509.000,00 (€ 376.062,06).
