Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas, which included the work Young Lady by Zhang Guiming. The price achieved of HKD 40,250.00 (€ 3,743.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Guiming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figures, which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 149,500.00 (€ 13,904.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas durch, in der auch die Arbeit Young Lady von Zhang Guiming zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 40.250,00 (€ 3.743,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Guiming mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Figures beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 149.500,00 (€ 13.904,47) versteigert wurde.
