A top price for Zhang Guiming
This artwork by Zhang Guiming achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2014. In the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction, the work Figures sold for HKD 149,500.00 (€ 13,904.47) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. This high result makes Figures the most expensive artwork by Zhang Guiming that we have observed at auctions so far.
