Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Elements Of Lover by Zhang Gong for HKD 47,200.00 (€ 4,859.38). This price was achieved in the auction Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art at POLY in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Gong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Computer Age, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 13,200.00 (€ 9,869.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Elements Of Lover von Zhang Gong für HKD 47.200,00 (€ 4.859,38) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Gong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Computer Age beobachtet, die im März 2007 für USD 13.200,00 (€ 9.869,90) versteigert wurde.
