Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Brave Tom Series No.15 & No.37（Two Pieces）(Painted In 1998) by Zhang Gong was sold in the The Schoeni Family Collection auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 10,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 11,800.00 (€ 1,298.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Zhang Gong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Computer Age in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 13,200.00 (€ 9,869.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Brave Tom Series No.15 & No.37（Two Pieces）(Painted In 1998) von Zhang Gong wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion The Schoeni Family Collection bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 11.800,00 (€ 1.298,73) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Gong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Computer Age im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.200,00 (€ 9.869,90).
