The work The Head Portrait No. 2 by Zhang Enli was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in March this year. It achieved a price of HKD 952,500.00 (€ 111,528.01), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Enli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maidens in May last year with an auction result of HKD 10,050,000.00 (€ 1,193,150.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 27 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Head Portrait No. 2 von Zhang Enli kam im März diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 952.500,00 (€ 111.528,01) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 27%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Enli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Maidens im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 10.050.000,00 (€ 1.193.150,68).
