This artwork by Zhang Cining achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in March last year. In the The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part IV auction, the work Landscape Album sold for USD 7,650.00 (€ 6,896.24) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Cining achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album Of Landscape in April this year with an auction result of HKD 132,000.00 (€ 134,797.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Cining erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part IV wurde die Arbeit Landscape Album für USD 7.650,00 (€ 6.896,24) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Cining erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album Of Landscape im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 132.000,00 (€ 134.797,83).
