Sold at the upper estimate price
In March 2011 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries, which included the work Warfare by ZEPHYR. The auction ended at the price of EUR 6,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by ZEPHYR - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Honda CBR900RR, which sold at auction in August 2020 for USD 20,000.00 (€ 16,756.03).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im März 2011 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries durch, in der auch die Arbeit Warfare von ZEPHYR zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 6.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von ZEPHYR mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Honda CBR900RR beobachtet, die im August 2020 für USD 20.000,00 (€ 16.756,03) versteigert wurde.
