Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2011 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries, which included the work Dog on it by ZEPHYR. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 6,250.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by ZEPHYR - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Honda CBR900RR, which sold at auction in August 2020 for USD 20,000.00 (€ 16,756.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2011 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dog on it von ZEPHYR zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 6.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von ZEPHYR mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Honda CBR900RR beobachtet, die im August 2020 für USD 20.000,00 (€ 16.756,03) versteigert wurde.
