Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Listening To The Spring by Zeng Qi was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 5,900.00 (€ 681.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zeng Qi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 33,040.00 (€ 3,636.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Listening To The Spring von Zeng Qi wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 5.900,00 (€ 681,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zeng Qi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 33.040,00 (€ 3.636,44).
